David has been a local on Mt Tamborine for over 14 years and qualified as a fitness instructor and personal trainer in 2015. David started training at MainFitness when the grind of working at a desk all day and unhealthy habits had led to him being overweight and unfit. David has turned his life around as he saw first hand how training, good eating and healthy habits can make a real difference in someone's life no matter their skill level or age. In 2015, he was one of 5 finalists nominated for the Fitness Australia Student Awards. David brings a strong work ethic to MainFitness and thoroughly enjoys leading group classes of all styles.
David loves running members through Bootcamps, Circuits, HIIT, Boxercise and a Body Smash. He always enjoys seeing the effort that members put in and how they achieve new skills and work towards goals. One on one personal training is also a favourite of David's as it offers the opportunity to personally work with someone to improve their health and help them meet challenges head on.
Through a number of programs, David is also building experience to assist people with various health conditions. His long term goals are to continue his fitness studies with a Diploma of Fitness in order to further help those with chronic conditions improve their health and wellbeing.
